One of our favorite places to go is Albert on Wednesday nights. Albert is an old dance hall, which isn't open, but the beer joint and food truck, appropriately named The Pig Pen, is. And the best band plays there on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, the fiddle player was an original on The Smokey and the Bandit sound track. We enjoy coming out and visiting with our park friends and the locals, who are very steeped in LBJ lore and stories.
