Well, we always escape to the San Marcos River down at Fentress at cousin Billie's place. It's a little piece of heaven as far as we are concerned and as long as my cousin doesn't mind, this is where we park in between travels. It sure felt good to get here. Ron helped finish up some tasks on the cabin, then we had some downtime that included a little fishing and a visit from Liz and Lucy before heading out for Garner State Park.
