More Catch Up From LBJ This Spring

One of the good things about our new life style is that we are so busy having fun and enjoying life that I tend to put blog updates on the back burner.  So here I am again with some more of our favorite things from this spring.  A lot of these favorite things included a lot of family and friends that stopped to visit!

Our good friends, Donna and Philip Gregurek, and her mom JoBerta Flickinger stopped by on their way home from New Mexico.  We also enjoyed Ron's cousin Gerald and Monica Janda that same day!  We took a ride for the best hamburgers ever at Alamo Springs, which is by Old Tunnel State Park.

Donna and her mom JoBerta.  So awesome to have them stop for a visit!!

Can't beat the scenery here!!

After lunch we went to Luckenbach. Mike Blakely was the entertainer. He's awesome!

JoBerta!!

The Luckenbach stage just is not complete without a rooster crowing during the music!

This is Old Tunnel State Park, which is right by Alamo Springs.  A nice walk down.  It's known for the bat flight.
Another visitor was daughter Liz!  I think she'd make a terrific President!!!

One of the fun stops was in Johnson City at the Science Mill Museum.  The place is so totally awesome.  Yes, it is geared for kids, but sometimes the old kids have a great time!!!  Ron and Liz are using their "minds" to make the magnet move.

Of course you know this Nana is all about making sure her grandkids become very interested in our National Park heritage.  Here's Miss Lucy receiving her Jr. Ranger badge from Ranger Cynthia at LBJ.
Here are our 2 favorite volunteers - Jim and Randa Weber, sitting in Lady Bird's swing by the river.

We went for a drive one day to Marble Falls and had to stop at the Bluebonnet Cafe for their famous pies.

I think there is always a line here! Worth the wait!!

We went home for Easter.   I was invited to play piano for Easter Sunday Service.  It was a treat and fun to catch up with our friends.

Sweet Aunt Lucy!
