Day 7 - Arrival into Glacier National Park

It was a beautiful drive over to Glacier.  Even though we were on the East Side, decided to go in at West Glacier and arrived at Avalanche Campground (which closes on Monday - so guess we're here for that long.).  Parked the camper - awesome site.  You can site in your lawn chair and gaze upon snow capped mountains.  Went for a 4 mile round trip hike to Avalanche Lake.  It's so "moist" here.  Ferns, really tall trees, still lots of wildflowers.  There was a deer that decided she was going to walk the trail, too.  Really cool day, weather wise.  They said they had 4 inches of snow last week and you can see the aspen trees starting to turn.
