Day 11 - Trekking across Montana and the Idaho panhandle

The campground here at Glacier closes today so off we go!  It's been a good time here at the park. So beautiful.  Took Hwy. 2.  Stopped at Kootenai Falls - have you ever heard water really thunder?  It does here! It just rolls over the granite rocks, shooting up spray. Then we headed on Hwy 56 to Ross Creek Scenic Area Giant Cedars. This was a 4 mile, almost one lane road to finally get there, but well worth it.  The cedars weren't as tall, but they were really big around!

Found a really nice state park - Farragut. First time to have electricity in 8 days and the first time we were able to watch the news on TV. Hope everyone at home survives the dirty side of the storm!
