The Apostle Islands National Lakeshore
Bayview, Wisconsin

Had a nice drive through Duluth, MN on our way to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore in Wisconsin.  Our destination is Bayview, WI.  Our first thought was to camp at the state park on Madeline Island but after we figured out the costs for the ferry back and forth plus extra times for sightseeing, decided against it and stayed at Apostle Islands campground in town. 

We took a quick tour around town - which is really nice. They are getting ready for their big Apple Festival this weekend.  There are beautiful apple orchards everywhere on this penninsula.  It has stayed cold all day - at least for us, when it is in the lower 40's it is cold!
