Yosemite National Park - Yosemite Valley

Day 14 - May 14 is Mother's Day! We left early for the valley in hopes of snagging an easy parking spot, but it wasn't to be had. The drive in was beautiful!  So many waterfalls. The high temp today is 55. Parking was a nightmare. Found a pullout, unloaded our bikes, and off we go only to find part of the bike trail is washed away. So we had a detour. Ron got soaked, but it was all good. We didn't follow him into the water!  LOL!

The upper and lower Yosemite Falls are just unbelievable.  Still snow out there. Thank you God for all of these blessings we keep finding!  Here are our pictures from today. Hope you enjoy!

Upper and lower Yosemite Falls
They are just beautiful!

Bridal veil falls

You get really wet and cold around these falls with the record amount of snow melt.

A great view of the valley with the waterfall.

Can you hear the thunder of the water?

Pacific Dogwood

This speaks about the big trees.

Great view of the valley.

The Grand Lodge

I think rooms here average $500 a night.

Can you see the Pacific Dogwood?

Half Dome

Cascade Creek

Next up is South Lake Tahoe!
